We use the information we collect to:

• run our competitions, including reviewing and judging entries, notifying winners, verifying identity and age, and paying prizes;
• manage membership, process payments, and deliver products and services;

• send news about projects, events, and promotions, if you sign up (you can unsubscribe at any time);
• meet tax and other legal obligations; and
• keep our website secure, prevent fraud, and improve our services.

We use competition winners’ names, photos, city and state, and synopsis for promotion only as described in our Official Competition Rules.

Cookies and Analytics:

We do not currently use Google Analytics to measure website traffic. Our website hosting provider and essential website services may collect technical information necessary for website operation, security, and performance. We will update this Privacy Policy if we introduce additional analytics services.

 

How we share information:

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only with:

 

• Service providers that help us operate our website, process payments, send emails, and maintain website security, including Stripe and Hostinger. These providers may use your information only to deliver services on our behalf.

• Competition judges, who receive your screenplay and synopsis only to evaluate your entry. They are bound by confidentiality.
• The public, limited to a winner’s name, photo, city and state, and synopsis, as described in the Official Competition Rules.
• Government authorities, when required by law (for example, tax reporting), or to protect the rights, safety, or security of SKP and others.

How long we keep information and how we protect it:

• Screenplays and entry materials are kept for up to 2 years after a competition closes, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
• Winner ID and tax documents are kept only as long as tax law requires, then securely deleted.
• Other information is kept while your membership or account is active, or as long as needed for the purposes above.

We use reasonable safeguards, such as encrypted connections and restricted access, to protect your information. No website or storage system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

 

Your choices and rights:

• Access, correct, or delete: Email (stoneknightproductions@gmail.com) to see, update, or delete your personal information. We will respond within 30 days. We may keep some records when the law requires it, such as tax documents for prize winners.
• Marketing emails: Use the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. We will still send messages about your entries, purchases, and membership.
• Nevada residents: We do not sell personal information. If that ever changes, you may ask us not to sell yours by emailing (stoneknightproductions@gmail.com).

Children’s privacy:

Our website is not intended for anyone under 13, and our competitions are open only to adults 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us, and we will delete it.

Payment Information:

Payments for memberships, competition entries, services, merchandise, or other purchases may be processed through third-party payment providers.
