How do I subscribe?

Select Membership and complete the payment. Once enrolled, you’ll gain full access to SKP resources designed to advance your writing career.

Yes, but non-members must pay the full entry fee for each competition submission.

You may cancel at any time. However, if you’ve entered an SKP competition before cancellation, your story will remain in the competition until it concludes. Please allow up to one month before your renewal date for cancellation processing.

  • Feature-length: 120–140 pages
  • Short film: 33–45 pages

Yes. For any film to be released on the SKP site, both parties must agree to a contract.

SKP stands for Stone Knight Productions. We are an independent film production company dedicated to turning writers’ stories into captivating visual experiences. We also provide promotional services to help businesses showcase their products, and we assist writers in pitching their stories to studios or independent productions.

Winners have 15 days from the date of notification to claim their prize. Verified prizes will be sent via overnight mail within seven days. Unclaimed prizes will be returned to Stone Knight Productions.

Why should I copyright my material?

We strongly recommend registering your screenplay with the U.S. Copyright Office and the Writers Guild of America (East or West). This protects your work from unauthorized duplication. An older method involves mailing a sealed copy of your work to yourself for record-keeping, though official registration is preferable.

During his tenure at Open Curtain Productions (2007–2013), Dell produced three short films: Rude Awakening, The Dream, and The Doors. Rude Awakening (14 minutes) is available on the Stone Knight Productions YouTube channel.

Yes. Submissions are open worldwide, but all entries must be in English.

Each entry must include a short synopsis (one page or less) with your name and screenplay title. You may also include a two-minute video pitch if desired.

Members with Unlimited Entry may submit as many stories as they wish before the deadline. Non-members must pay the full entry fee for each submission.

Writers retain the choice to sell or not sell their work. Regardless, SKP awards winners with a cash prize and recognition on our website.
